Regarding my nose?

Hello, I recently got x-rays done for a suspected deviated septum, however my results came back negative. I do believe I show all of the symptoms - crooked nose, leakage, and different sized nostrils. Is septoplasty still an option?

Hello, everyone has a deviated septum. The question is the degree of the deviation. It might be very small internally, but big externally where it is visible. sounds like you need a nose job, Rhinoplasty, to correct all your concerns, except for the "leakage". Most likely that is from allergies. For further information, you can visit my website, at Drroya.com. Good luck!
If you did not have a CT scan then the plain film X-Ray is useless in diagnosis of deviated septum. The plain film X-Ray only shows deviation of the bony septum and not the cartilagenous septum. To diagnose that you can either get a CT scan or more importantly, it should be pretty obvious to your surgeon during your physical examination. If you do not have a deviated septum, you can get a rhinoplasty to correct all of the issues that you have with the appearance of your nose. A nose job or a rhinoplasty is designed to improve the appearance of the nose and can improve breathing if done appropriately and correctly.

Yes.
External structural anomalies of the nose/nostrils is a different problem that septal deviation. Correction can still occur, but will likely need external nasal framework surgery. Also, many times the radiologist can call something normal, but looking in the nose, the deviated septum can be seen. So, I’d go to an ENT to look in the nose to be sure
It sounds like you may have enlarged turbinates and possibly a collapsed nasal valve if your septum is straight on a cat scan
If your septum is straight and your nose looks crooked, it’s pointless to think that a septoplasty could benefit you in any way. Most of us have asymmetrical faces and the differences you notice in your nose may simply be something you should embrace and not try to change. Have a heart to heart consultation with your surgeon.

Thank you for the question. My recommendation to you would be to go and see an ENT specialist.
