“Replacing levothyroxine w/ an all natural supplement?”
My wife had her thyroid removed when she was younger. She had a Gorder removed from her neck. Is there an all-natural thyroid supplement that will replace her levothyroxine 75mg? Can she replace her thyroid medication?

Check t3 t4 and tshlevels. If she had total thyroidectomy she should take levothyroxin. There is really no short cut. Any other supplements won’t be enough !
Their is Armor thyroid and another type. Consult Endocrinology and Functional Medicine.
There are natural supplements for hypothyroidism but non that are are better replacement than l-thyroxine. I’m sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you. It’s still the best and tried and true. You can speak with your prescribing provider for alternatives or additive medication/supplement.

Dessicated Thyroid is natural product which is obtained from animal tissue. It contains raw thyroid elements. It has held up well on some clinical trials. I prefer synthetic preps such as Levothroxine because I know what is in them, their onset of action is quicker, however, if you wish to try them, go to it, but monitor her feelings and blood work, tsh.

The replacement dose is Arnour Thyroid or NP Thyroid 45mg (30+15). Medically, there's an advantage to use the natural product.
