Ring finger pain?

I’m a 15 year old rower, who recently has felt pain when pulling back in my ring finger while erging. To provide an example of the location of pain, if you were to push on a table only using your fingertip, that is the exact part. I’m not taking any medication and my finger mostly only hurts while picking up weights or specifically a bucket. The pain is a sharp ache and before the pain began, I noticed it started with my finger just being stiff and stuck in place after long erg workouts. Then it started to hurt really bad and got worse and worse so I took a week's break of full rest. However, it has come back after erging again. It now hurts to extend, fully close my hand, and it’s uncomfortable to bend.

Find a physician who offers PRP or prolotherapy.

Probably strained a flexor tendon.Need to protect with gloves while erging. The goal of sport is to win not good health. You have to pay attention to your sport technique and gradually get in shape first.
