It sounds like you might be experiencing ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. Ringworm typically appears as red, itchy, circular rashes with raised, scaly borders. It can occur in various areas of the body, including the groin, and is often referred to as jock itch when it affects that area.

Treatment:
Over-the-counter antifungal creams: Products like clotrimazole or terbinafine can be effective in treating ringworm.
Keep the area clean and dry: Fungi thrive in warm, moist environments, so keeping the groin area clean and dry is important.
Avoid scratching: Scratching can make the infection worse or spread it to other parts of your body.
If the rash doesn’t improve after a few weeks of treatment or worsens, it’s best to visit a healthcare provider for a more accurate diagnosis and treatment.
