Severe pain in my left calf?

For about a week now I have experienced pain in my calf, the worst is when I am walking. It is not swollen, or red and does not hurt to touch. I have also experienced this in bed which makes me think it may be a cramp but then it does not go away.

Calf muscle pain can be due to cramps. As there is no swelling or redness, it may not be redness. It can happen in menopause as there is no estrogen to transport the calcium to the bones or muscle.
There are several possibilities including cramps, but you should have this evaluated to ensure it is not more dangerous, like a blood clot.
