Tightness in calves can be from blood clot. Please get an urgent evaluation by your doctor or go to nearest ER or urgent care. Thanks
You don't give a lot of detail, but with hypothyroidism, it is likely the pain is secondary to swelling and edema, particularly if you have issues with your weight. It is unlikely that either of the two medications you mention are causing the swelling or pain. If you press on your shin for a few seconds and it leaves a dimple after the pressure is released, that is called pitting edema. It can cause the pain you're describing. It can be treated with compression hose, fluid restrictions and other medications called diuretics or water pills. If this is the cause you would best be served with a visit to your PCP.
