“Should I get retested for an STI?”
I recently had unprotected sex with someone a couple of weeks ago, and 2 days I go I was feeling strong burning when I urinated. Also, my prostate was on fire then 3 days later it's completely gone, I don’t feel any burning or discomfort anymore. So I went to get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea. I just my results today and it says that I’m negative on both. Did I test too early, should I retest a couple of weeks later? I’m not sure what could be happening.

Just be careful in the future.
You don’t need to retest because that test was negative, and most of the tests that are done now are very sensitive, so if the bacteria is present, it will show up on the test.
