This is a highly personal decision that can only be answered by you and an eye surgeon. There are many factors that need to be considered before saying yes or no to eye surgery. These include your age, how stable your prescription is, your personal, professional, and occupational visual needs, any medical conditions, and any previous eye conditions. I would schedule a consultation with an ophthalmologist/refractive surgeon in order to have all of your questions answered and so that you know all of the pros, cons, complications, benefits, etc. so that you are fully aware and informed.
