You may have allergies to the plastic material Invisalign is made of. Don’t wear them and call your dentist.
Invisalign  is usually safe to wear even with swollen gums since it does not contact the gums much , if at all. But healthy gums are very important for successful treatment and movement of teeth. It is very important to get your gum health back to normal with cleaning advised by your dentist.
It’s not a good sign if your gums are swollen. You should be checked by a periodontist to see what is the issue.
Wear your Invisalign aligners as directed and have your Dr determine if the swelling is related to the orthodontic movement or if there is another cause (tarter or health condition)
