Should I worry about kidney disease?

Hi.
I went in for a physical this past week and had some labs drawn. My "abnormal" labs are as follows:
MPV 11.3 fL
Chloride 109.0 mmol/L
eGFR AA 85 mL/min
eGRF NON AA 73 mL/min
HDL 38.00 mg/dL

BUN was 8.00 mg/dL
Creatinine was 1.000 mg/dL

I am a caucasian female who is 5'4'' and 207 lbs. I feel pretty good most days but have general fatigue. I think that's just from being a mom and a full-time student. My provider said my labs were all good and that it's likely just from dehydration. I don't feel dehydrated and the lab had no issues accessing my veins. The only prescription medication I am taking is Zyrtec as needed for my seasonal allergies. Should I be concerned about my kidneys?

No but a change in healthier lifestyle with weight loss, hydration and exercise is recommended
Your labs as a snapshot in time (the time when you did the labs) are not alarming, but if you had labs last year and the year before, then it would be important to plot creatinine over time. In other words, to see if your creatinine has risen from previous values. If it has gone up from 0.7 to 1.0, that would be concerning. If no change in Cr, that would be less concerning. But in addition, you need to have a urine analysis done, you need to do urine microalbumin and urine creatinine and obtain urine microalbumin/creatinine to make sure it is below 30 mg/gm. I have to be honest with you, even if your creatinine is normal, you are very much overweight for your height, and this is a bad thing for your risk of diabetes, high BP, and kidney disease down the road. Your BMI is 35.5 which is very high. The best thing you can do to your self now is to lose 20-25 pounds of weight over the next 6 months through diet, exercise, and food choices. That is the best advice I can give you. If you start on it now, it will make a huge difference in your life 10-20 years from now. You don't want to get disabled due to complications of overweight.
This is calculated value, repeat test without fasting.
