“Strep throat?”
I’m being treated for strep throat, taking amoxicillin twice daily for 10 days. My boyfriend is coming to visit for Christmas and I wanted to know if the general rule “you aren’t contagious after 24 hrs taking medication and without a fever” only applies to general contact like being close to one another or if it’s safe to kiss him?

You should be fine if you’ve been on medication
