“Strep throat?”
I have strep throat, I already have been on antibiotics for 24 hours but there’s a lot of puss on my tonsils still. Am I still contagious or can I go back to work?

I’m assuming that you had throat swab (Rapid Strep Test or Throat Culture) that confirmed Group A Streptococcus. If one of these tests were positive and you’re on the correct antibiotic, you are not contagious after 24-36 hours of taking the antibiotics. If you’re not improving with the antibiotics prescribed, it’s advised that seek reevaluation.
