Stress test?

I am a 53 year old female presenting with chest pain. I had a nuclear stress test/PET scan yesterday and wanting to know what Blunted HR response to stress means in results.

Conditions: Diabetes/Long Covid/RA

A "blunted heart rate response means that the increased heart rate with exercise was less than typical. Such a response would be expected with the use of metoprolol. Without details, I really cannot say more since I don't have the necessary information.
There are many potential reasons for a "blunted HR response to exercise". Most are benign (such as a conditioned heart as in active or athletic individuals) or underlying medications that slow the pulse (such as the Metoprolol you are taking). However it can also be associated with underlying heart problems and significant coronary artery disease.
