“Swollen shoulder on left side?”
About a month ago I noticed my left shoulder was swollen. It hasn't gotten worse but it's not getting better. It aches and is a little weak. I've put ice packs and heating pads on it. I do have 3 solid nodules on my thyroid that I'm getting looked at by my ENT doctor on September 3rd. What can cause this swelling? I've read stuff like frozen shoulder but I don't know.

I would see an ortho.
I would visit your internist primarily. They would take a wide view of your situation. Typically frozen shoulders do not cause swelling. They certainly can ache and cause stiffness. Your Internet should be able to decide if you need to see a specialist. Always a good place to start
