Thyroid test results?

I had a thyroidectomy in 2011. Recent blood work showed my TSH at 10.71 and my free the at 4.03 on a range of 2.5 to 3.9. This is conflicting. I take vitamin b1 ( thiamine) but have never taken biotin. What could be the cause of this?

TSH high. You have thyroid resistance syndrome and need more thyroxine. Or extremely extremely extremely rare TSH secreting tumor of the pituitary.
Dear patient. The thyroidectomy has caused minimal hypothyroidism , and the Levothroxine should be adjusted.

Hello,
There are other labs that need to be obtained. Would recommend a consultation with an endocrinologist.

If you are saying your free T4 was slightly elevated but you have an elevated TSH it probably means you have a low level of thyroid binding globulin and a low T4 total. With the elevated TSH I would check the total T4 and if it is low I would increase your thyroid hormone dose. TJ

You need an increase in your levothyroxine. Do not take your vitamins near
your levothyroxine. Vitamins should be taken at least 4 hours later than
when you take your levothyroxine.
