“Upper GI bleed?”
How soon after leaving the hospital can someone resume sex with their spouse? I had a major bleed requiring 4 units of blood and 7 days in the ICU.

If you are healthy enough to climb a flight of stairs without difficulty, then it should be ok to resume sexual activity.
Ask GI doctor.
