Ureaplasma urealytium?

I recently gave oral sex to a guy and hours later he said he was had swelling of the penis, urethra, and redness, especially after masturbation. Before this, I've tested negative for all STDs including ureaplasma urealytium, and also never experienced any symptoms. Later to find out now after doing all the tests again...I in fact test positive for ureaplasma urealytium with no symptoms and negative to everything else. He's convinced I've affected him some how by giving him oral sex, even though I was 100 percent clear before this incident. Could I give this to him even though I never had it?

Ureaplasma is a normal bacteria present in the urogenital tract, overgrowth leads to infections like bacterial vaginosis. It is not a sexually transmitted infection.
The best thing to do is for your partner to be tested and treated accordingly.
