Weird skin lesion

It looks round. At first it is a little bumpy red lesion. Then it starts to thin vertically and forms a outline of dead skin around. It starts on the root of a hair follicle ( I removed my hair in the pics). It mainly appears above my chest, below my chest and on my thighs. It goes away within a few days and leaves a light coloured round mark. It is around 4-6 mm at first and becomes around 8-10 mm when it goes away (the round light coloured mark).

that looks like pityriasis rosae. It is a viral exanthem and typically goes away in four to six weeks. I commonly follows a strep throat infection. Of course, if it does not go away consult with you doctor. kw
