That will depend on a multitude of factors: his health his comfort level, the type of procedure, etc.
The anesthesia your father needs is not dependent on hospice. It is dependent on what he needs for the priced. His other medical problems will affect the anesthesia/meds chose but not because he’s in hospice. Often hospice is suspended while surgery is required and will be resumed after recovery.
Something for pain, usually narcotics, as well as something for anxiety, usually a benzodiazepine, are used for hospice care.
It really depends on the procedure. However, in general, the anesthetic plan would not drastically change as a hospice patient.

Short-acting drugs like fentanyl, versed, propofol would be ideal to provide conscious sedation to provide quick recovery.
Thank you for your question. It depends on what procedure they will do to your father and what co morbidities your father have. Ask your case managers that visit your father and if they can not answer, they'll refer you to their medical director.
