Hello,

All you need to do is drink plenty of fluid to soften your bowel. Drink hot coffee as it sometimes help to relieve constipation, if you drink coffee. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, this make your stool soft. There is a juice called prune juice that also help relieve constipation, if you can purchase it. Sometimes people use epsom salt bought over the counter to help induce a bowel movement. The only thing you need to watch out for this is that you need to hydrate a lot when you use it and also it can cause abdominal cramps.
Hope this is helpful.

Drink more water and get more movement are typically the top two things that can help constipation. If you do not have kidney issues you may want to try some magnesium citrate, but check with your PCP first.
Prune juice is a good home remedy for constipation. It also has high antioxidants, and fiber content.
