Each case of migraine is different origin so there are no general points
It depends on what is causing your migraines. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief.
It depends on where the pain is. The anatomical location of pain determines effective acupuncture points.

I don't advise you to treat this yourself, but you can try rubbing the Taiyang points, depressing on the lateral corners of eyes.
There are many different types of migraine, so we cannot provide this information. It is important to be evaluated by an acupuncturist before we can provide the appropriate prescription.

Hi,

Acupuncture treatments for migraines headache are LI4 GB20 GB21 ST8. If it relates with hormone, then you may add SP6 LV3 CV4 CV6.
Hope these points help.

Pressure points are not really effective at treating migraines. Acupuncture is much more effective both in the early stage of migraines to diminish symptoms, and then also to resolve the overall diagnosis for the individual patient. Additionally, most cases require a specific herbal formula based upon the diagnosis in Chinese Medicine.

Good afternoon,

The general acupuncture point to relieve migraine headaches, are LI4, SP9, GB20. Migraine headaches can be caused by different elements. Chinese medicine alone has 4 different diagnoses. Therefore, different diagnosis uses different points.

This all depends mostly on where the headaches are located:
-For the occipital region, the nape of the neck.
-For the temples, right above the ears about 3 thumb’s breadth.
-For behind the eyes, one thumb’s breadth anterior to the Achilles’ tendon between the medial malleolus.
-For general headaches, in the webbing of the thumb and index fingers at the muscle belly.
You can do massage on a couple points like LI4 and Liv3, LI4 located between index and tum fingers, Liv3 between index and big toe both sides, do rubbing both sides for 5 to 10min 2-3t/day or see an acupuncturist!

The acupuncture points used are not necessarily pressure points. Each treatment is tailored to each specific patient. We would have to go through a series of questions to try and pinpoint why you are having the migraines, then I could decide which acupuncture points would help you out the most.
While there are certainly points that receive headaches, in order to answer your question, I would need more information. Acupuncture is not a “cookbook” one-size-fits-all system. It is individualized. I can see two people with migraines and treat them completely differently. It all depends on the root cause of the symptoms. So, while acupuncture is amazing at treating migraines, I would need to see you, talk to you, find out when the headaches started, their triggers and so much more information in order to determine what acupuncture points to use. Also, acupuncture is not a “quick fix.” A series of treatments is generally needed. The treatments build on each other. By identifying the root cause of the symptoms and treating them, the body is better able to utilize its own healing mechanisms.
Hope that helps.

Massage the feet, especially at the base of the toes.

Migraines can be very debilitating and effect your quality of life. So sorry that you suffer from them! Try stimulating DU20 (top of the head) yitang(bewteen eyes), Lu7 (on the wrist under thumb), taiyang( side of eyes, on the temple), and ear shenmen. Look up these points online to find there exact location. Hope this helps !!
Migraines are different in each person, but pressing very hard on Gallbladder 21 may help. It would be best to be assessed in person by an acupuncturist.
Find a practitioner to teach you. Or buy a book. I do not teach this, and certainly not online. In fact, I am opposed to people dabbling as amateurs in this medicine. Sorry.

Generally, you can try GV20, GB8, LI4, SP6, LR3. It is better to find a Chinese medicine doctor to diagnose the cause of your migraines and customize the best formula of points based on your body condition.
0.5 inch behind and below the end of the eyebrow is a point, 1 inch above the tip of the ear is a point, you can pressure them to relieve migraines. There are some other points also can do, but difficult tell, you can get an acupuncture book to find them.
I don't know of any pressure points for migraines. We use acupuncture points, and those points would be different from one person to another.
There are several points that you can use to releive migraines and headaches. For the most accurate (and therefore most effective) points to apply, I recommend seeing an acupuncturist for a full diagnosis.
