What can I do for crown sensitivity?

I got a crown 2 days ago. I have tooth sensitivity. What can I do for crown sensitivity?

see your dentist who placed the crown and check the bite
Sometimes the sensitivity is on the gingiva (gums) but sometimes it may be that the tooth's nerve has been stressed. Wait a few weeks and use a tooth paste such as sensodyne. The pain may subside. If not, see your dentist to check if there is any cement around the tooth. If the pain gets worse it may mean that the nerve of the tooth, which may have remained dormant, has suddenly decided to go bad. This happens at times and could mean the need for root canal treatment. DENTIST
