There are many factors/reasons that can cause insomnia. Does she has hard time falling asleep? Does she have hard time staying asleep? Is anything happening in her life recently? Does she take a new medication? As you can see there a lot of factors that associate with insomnia. Please reach out to her primary care or tour her office for more information.
If there are no health or emotional issues determined by her pediatrician
Make sure that she doesn't consume sugar or chocolate after 4,5 pm ,and follows other rules of sleep hygene appropriate for her age.

Greetings,
Various reasons may be causing your daughter to have difficulty falling asleep. It could be her biological makeup, environment, too much sugar before bed, hyperactivity before bed (which includes high stimulation tv, music play, etc.) Try to eliminate any of the above that may be occurring in her environment to see if this helps. If you are still having problems, seek your pediatrician for help. I hope this helps.
