I had a root canal 2 weeks ago. It hurts today. What can cause pain 2 weeks after a root canal?

Can be an issue with the root canal. However sometimes it takes a long time to heal. As long as you are improving slowly and not getting worse its probably ok
Many factors, the best is to go back to your Dr who performed it for a follow up or seek a second opinion by another endodontist.
First tooth pain can radiate, root canal takes the nerve out so if it is that tooth there may be a nerve that was missed. Return to your dentist for an x-ray to confirm what tooth it is and make sure there is no infection
Usually pain after root canal should gradually subside. If it is returning or increasing at 2 weeks then you should go back to see your dentist for a re-evaluation.
