Many possible causes but the most commo, by far, is internal hemorrhoids.
It really matters what the bleeding is like, how frequent, whether it happens after a bowel movement, causes anemia, etc, etc .
Hemorrhoids and Anal tearing are more benign. Let's start there. If those are ruled out, I would consult your physician for other possibilities.
There are many reasons people can have blood from the rectum. Some of these are very straightforward and simple and include some thing called a Fisher. This is a crack in the skin at the level of the anus. It can include hemorrhoids which are dilated veins around the anal canal. There are much more serious diseases that can cause similar findings and I would recommend that you see a gastroenterologist for a work up.
