“What causes a cyst under a tooth?”
I am a 29 year old female. I want to know what causes a cyst under a tooth?

The most common "cyst" is from infection within the tooth. However, these can also be developmental cysts, certain types of benign tumors or even cancer. They need to therefore be treated and if appropriate biopsied.
