The most destructive for natural enamel are acids. Citric acid from lemons and other fruits are corrosive and bacteria from plaque also produces acids.
Acid foods. Bulemia Tooth grinding.
Several things can destroy enamel. Acid whether from food, bacteria, or reflux can dissolve enamel. Biting force can also rub away enamel.
Usually, the enamel is destroyed by acidic things like overconsumption of soda and lack of hygiene causing decay/cavities. You can also lose enamel if you are clenching or grinding.
