I noticed that my dental implant crown is loose. What should I do?

See your dentist immediately. Try not to chew on that side. Your dentist will determine the cause of the loose implant and take appropriate action. You cannot fix the problem yourself, so don't even try.
Please call the dental office that placed the crown on the implant. This should be done as soon as you notice any movement to avoid damage to the implant itself. The dentist can get access to the screw inside the crown and tighten it again.
Call your dentist for an appointment asap.
Most dental implants are screwed into place. Like all srews under function,(think screws holding an airplane together) they can loosen up and need to be retightened. Go back to the dentist who placed crown and have this done. It should be fairly simple . Nothing needs to be redone, just the screw tightened. This is a common situation.
Dental implant crown loss can have many reasons: The main reason the implant crown gets loose is due to a screw! also, it depends if your implant crown is screw-retained, or cement-retained! Immediately go see your dentist. There can be several different reasons for a loose crown on your implant. By neglecting this, you take a chance on losing the ability to have the crown tightened and losing the chance to utilize the implant to support another (or this) crown!
If the implant is loose, please go back to the provider who placed the implant for them to check it.
