“What does a spirometry test indicate?”
Can I take a spirometry test to understand my lung function? What does the test actually indicate?

Spirometer test is done to measure the amount of air you are able to breathe in and out. It measures your lung capacity and how well they work. It’s it is done so your pulmonary doctor can assess if you have any chronic obstructive or interstitial lung disease.
The test it’s self is fairly easy to do as long as you follow the directions of your Respiratory Care Practitioner.
