What does enamel erosion look like?

I am a 53 year old female. I want to know what does enamel erosion look like?

Enamel erosion starts out as yellow staining and chips in the teeth. They can then turn into rough edges, large shiny spots on your teeth, tooth decay, gradual wearing of enamel, and then to clear, slightly translucent teeth that can eventually fracture. The most likely causes are heavy sugary and acidic food/drinks. These teeth can be treated with resin fillings or full coverage crowns for more extreme cases.
Erosion happens when uneven layers of enamel are stripped away by abrasion or acidic chemical action.
Hope this is helpful.
There are chemical and physical erosion. Both result in loss of enamel and exposed dentin. The dentin is darker, yellow and/or brown. Erosion often can cause craters on the top or sides of teeth.
