“What does fibroid removal surgery involve?”
I have been diagnosed with fibroids and am due for surgery. This is my first surgery ever. Can you please let me know what I can expect and how I should prepare?

A hysterectomy is one of the possible solutions. If individual fibroids are removed, then once the operation is completed and the discomfort of the operation is over, there should be no change except the loss of the problem of the fibroid.
It sounds like you have some benign tumors that your doctor should explain what to expect.
