I am a 38 year old male. I want to know what happens if a spinal nerve is damaged?

If a nerve is damaged you can have pain, numbness or weakness.
It very much depends on which spinal nerve is damaged the exact symptoms you will experience. In terms of nerve damage they all generally swell in response to injury which may impair their blood supply and increase the severity of symptoms. If the blood supply to the nerve can be restored the nerve will generally heal. The length of time required for the healing will depend on the length of the nerve
