“What happens if a toddler has a cavity?”
My toddler daughter has a cavity. What should I do?

Hi, You should take your toddler to a dentist and get the cavity fixed. Some dentists treat children. However, sometimes the treatment is best handled by a pedodontist (pediatric dentist) if the toddler is uncooperative or unable to sit still in the chair for the procedure.
1st see a pediatric dentist. The tooth should be saved if at all possible. The adult teeth that are forming right now follow the pathway of the "baby teeth".
Cut out the sweets, brush the child's teeth at least 2 times per day. Allow them to brush as much as they want.
