Improper contact lens care and wear can exacerbate dry eye symptoms. It is always important to have proper hygiene when wearing lenses. If dry eye symptoms present you may use artificial tears or lubricating drops.

Contact holidays are very helpful period so if you don't need the contacts in please take them out. Make sure you never sleep in contacts. if you do have dry eye consider using artificial tears two to four times during the day.
