What is a chiropractor doing when he cracks your neck?

When I adjust a patient's neck, I am mobilizing the joint to take pressure off of the nervous system. The popping noise is just a release of gas from the joint.
Hello there, I hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Your neck adjustments are some of the most important as the nerves exit between the spinal bones, vertebrae, affecting not only a pain-free life, but also proper organ function.
The chiropractic adjustment stimulates the nervous system. Each bone correlates with a part of your body. For example, the 5th bone in your neck dermatome covers the outer part of the upper arm down to about the elbow. C5 also controls functions of the autonomic nervous system. In order for the chiropractic to understand what they are trying to correct they need to have a complete examination including x-rays to diagnose you. Please take a look at my website, drrobpomahac.com to better understand what kind of DC you should go see. Because there is a difference. Thanks
They are restoring proper alignment and function to the cervical spine (neck).
