“What is dangerously low hemoglobin?”
I was diagnosed with low hemoglobin. What is dangerously low hemoglobin?

I would say anything lower than 6. However, without the context of your case I would follow up with your primary care and or hematologist for investigation as to why it is low.
It depends on how fast your hemoglobin falls. If it is falling fast, you could have either bleeding somewhere, or an immune disease that is causing your red cells to break apart, or other serious problem. If your hemoglobin is stable (not changing over time), you most likely have iron deficiency - especially if you are a woman and are menstruating. A hemoglobin less than 10, although not immediately life threatening, is of concern and you should be seen regularly by a physician. A hemoglobin less than 8 can result in heart or kidney failure over time.
