The most common ages for men to experience epididymitis are between 20 and 39. Possible symptoms include a tender scrotum, painful urination, testicle lump, penial discharge, and blood in the semen. Antibiotic therapy is necessary to treat the infection. The entire cycle of antibiotics for epididymitis should be taken as prescribed

THE TWO BEST ORAL ANTIBIOTICS FOR EPIDIDYMITIS ARE PROBABLY SEPTRA (SULFAMETHOXAZOLE PLUS TRIMETHOPRIM) OR AZITHROMYSIN. IF IV THERAPY IS NEEDED OR THERE ARE ALLERGIES TO THE OTHERS, CEFTRIAXONE IS ALSO VERY EFFECTIVE.
I would say either levoquine or doxycycline for 10 days.
