“What is the best exercise after gastric bypass?”
I had a gastric bypass surgery 2 weeks ago. I want to exercise. What is the best exercise after gastric bypass?

Any exercise!
My patients will start walking within 4 hours after surgery. The more activity you can do, the better. I recommend avoiding heavy lifting (more than 20 lbs) and strenuous activity for about 2 weeks to allow the incisions to heal and prevent a hernia.
Long-term, aerobic activity (walking, running, biking) is important. Building muscle mass and tone through weights and resistance bands is important as well.
