What is the best treatment for astigmatism?

I am a 19 year old female. I want to know what is the best treatment for astigmatism?

1. Depends on the amount of astigmatism.
2. A Toric soft contact lens works well for low to moderate astigmatism.
3. A Gas-Permeable semi-rigid contact lens works well for higher amounts of astigmatism
4. Scleral contact lenses and other specialty lenses might be required for super-high astigmatism or keratoconus disease or prevention of keratoconus.
There are multiple answers to that question because it really depends on your examination findings. There are glasses, contact lenses, various surgical procedures, and no treatment.

Astigmatism can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.

Glasses or contacts depending on how large of an astigmatism you have.
