“What is the cause of frequent urination?”
My mother is 67 years old and is frequently urinating beyond the normal levels. What could be the reason for this?

Frequent urination can be due to excessive production of urine, as occurs with uncontrolled diabetes or a condition called diabetes insipidus. It can also be caused by malfunction or irritation of the bladder due to urinary infections, bladder stones, bladder nerve damage or uterine prolapse. A nephrologist or urologist is best suited to further evaluate this individual.
