Depending on the severity, you can wash the ear out with warm water to relieve pain however, you should ALWAYS consult an ENT. Ear infections typically need a simple antibiotic like Doxycycline or Erythromycin to thwart the infection itself. Any associated fever lasting 48hrs or more should be seen by an Urgent Care or an ER. These infections can lead to complications quickly if not treated. Good luck!
