What is the strongest medicine for anxiety?

I have anxiety and want to treat it. What is the strongest medicine for anxiety?

There are so many anxiety medications, it can be hard to find the right one for you but in general, the snri class are really good, that would be Cymbalta for example, then the ssri class like prozac. The benzodiazepines are good for a quick fix but can actually worsen anxiety just like alcohol if you take it regularly the withdrawal can be brutal.
It’s not a matter of what the strongest medicine is. It’s important to find the right medication for you and that is different for each person. This is often dependent on the symptoms your having with your anxiety as well as other medical issues. I would discuss this with either your primary care provider or a psychiatrist if you prefer. Just depends on if your primary does a lot of mental health. Some do and some do not.
