I have diarrhea. What medication can I take for diarrhea?

Medication often used is Lomtal. Used for ages is the water from cooking white rice. It is usually best to skip a couple of meals to give the digestive track a rest. Refrain from soda and spicy foods. OTC Imodium AD is helpful. Caution with taking excessive amounts.
The cause of the diarrhea dictates what the treatment should be.
But in general, most benign causes of diarrhea will respond to imodium.
