Antibiotics for a kidney infection include Bactrim, Bactrim DS, Kefkex ( kephalexin), Nitrofrantoin and Ceftriaxone among others. Good hydration is essential. Drink at least 8 oz. of noncaffeinated fluids every 8 hours. Acetaminophen relieves pain and can be taken for fever over 101°F.Sent from my Galaxy
