A flouride mouthwash is best even with no root canal. If your gingiva is irritated around the tooth that has had a root canal it would be helpful to rinse with salt water a few days to help the healing process.
Mouthwashes does not affect a root canal at all. A root canal is done internal on a tooth where mouthwashes doesn't reach. However, the best OTC mouthwash in my opinion is listerine. But again it won't help or hurt a root canal.
Warm salt water.
Thank you for asking that questions! There no any particular brand of mouthwash you use after Root canal Treatment. Under normal situation, you don't need to use any mouthwash fter Root Canal Treatment. However, If you really want to , I personally prefer to use Listerine. ! Hope that will help! Have Blessed day!
The root canal process sterilizes the center of the tooth, afterwards it will not be open to the oral cavity so mouthwash will not have an effect on healing. If there were periodontal considerations they may give you a prescription strength mouthwash called chlorohexidine, but that will not be every case.
