I had a root canal 2 days ago. It hurts. What pain medications help with root canal pain?

Anti inflammatories
Alternating Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 6-8 hours
Usually an antiflammatory such as Ibuprofen (Advil) will work or your provider should be contacted for antibiotic if needed or other meds depending on the severity of pain. Other factors could be contributing. Clenching/grinding?
