Every symptom and complaint has it’s own origin therefore every patient is treated differently and different points are used
yes
One prescribed by a health professional that has seen you, done a thorough health history and evaluation in person, and a complete diagnosis. And i only know one thing about you... which is not enough for me to even reasonably guess that.
You can try to give pressure on points ren17 and 22 to see how it works, otherwise go see an acupuncturist for a couple sessions for help because your Qi is in the opposite direction.
I can’t post any photo here but look for acupuncture point PC6.
Up the wrist (palm side) 2 inches in the middle, there is a pressure point (both hands). You can pressure them about 3-5 minutes to stop nausea. If you can't stop it quickly, just keep pressure on it, it will stop the nausea.
There's a point on the inner arm between the two tendons, two thumb widths from the wrist crease that is helpful with nausea. If that isn't enough, I would find the acupuncturist nearest you to take care of the problem.
I'm not aware of any published evidence that a pressure point relieves nausea.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in general don't work the same way conventional western medicine does. One of the big differences lies in the explanatory and diagnostic model. In Chinese medicine, there isn't one and only one treatment for the management of anything. There are, potentially, a variety of reasons you might be experiencing nausea and without knowing your entire presentation, any point(s) I gave you would be a complete guess.

If you want to try Chinese medicine to help with your issue, go to NCCAOM.org and use their 'Find a Practitioner' link to get a list of local providers.
