Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) greater than 60 or higher is the normal range. GFR lower than 60 may mean kidney disease. GFR 15 or lower may mean kidney failure. There are urine tests, Dipstick urine test, Urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) which compares albumin to creatinine in your urine. Blood tests, Serum creatinine, glomerular filtration rate (GFR), Blood Urea Nitrogen, Blood test, Imaging, and others. Consult your medical provider and follow their recommendation. Thank you.
Please provide me with more information.Your age, gender, serum creatinine level and GFR as noted on your labs. How do you feel? Are you eating ok, is your energy good are you able to get through your day?
Make sure your blood pressure is controlled. Decrease amount of protein ( meats ) in your diet and see a kidney specialist
