It depends on what type of heel surgery you have.
Wearing appropriate shoes and using orthotics can be beneficial to try to prevent recurrence. Jonathan M. Kletz, DPM Texas Foot WorksDallas, Athens and Gun Barrel City Texas214-340-8885
Well it depends on what type of surgery you had. Your surgeon should have provided you a list of your limitations post-operatively - such as limited weight bearing, no athletic activities, rest and elevation of the limb, etc.
Your surgeon should be discussing your limitations/restrictions with you.
Hi! After heel surgery you should avoid things that can contribute to heel pain like walking around barefoot on hard floors or improper shoe for the activity.
Discuss with your surgeon regarding your limitations.
Depends on the type of surgery. Please speak to your surgeon about this.
You should allow yourself to heal after any surgery, but the goal is to have you back to full activity after healing is done
