What should you avoid before anesthesia?

I will have surgery under general anesthesia. What should you avoid before anesthesia?

Avoid any kind of blood thinners, some vitamins B,C, E,K and any herbal remedies for 1 week before procedure

Avoid eating food 8 hours prior to surgery and drinking clear liquids less than 2 hours before surgery. Also avoid any recreational drugs or alcohol.
